Fort Ticonderoga Nrw York the Empire State

Fort Ticonderoga, formerly Fort Carillon, is a large 18th-century star fort built by the French at a narrows near the south end of Lake Champlain in upstate New York in the United States. It was constructed by Canadien Michel Chartier de Lotbinière, Marquis de Lotbinière between 1754 and 1757 during the Seven Years' War, often referred to as the French and Indian War in the USA. It was of strategic importance during the 18th-century colonial conflicts between Great Britain and France, and again played a role during the American Revolutionary War.
The site controlled a river portage alongside the mouth of the rapids-infested La Chute River in the 3.5 miles (5.6 km) between Lake Champlain and Lake George and was strategically placed in conflicts over trade routes between the British-controlled Hudson River Valley and the French-controlled Saint Lawrence River Valley

Back to the Garden

First time visited with no line up!!!

Two for $25 fantastic deal

Zuppa soup and the Olive Garden highly recommended

Heat, Lone Ranger,Boston Common, Bella Vita, Two Gentlemen of Verona

Friday two movies were viewed: Heat recommended and The Lone Ranger highly recommended. Silver the white stallion was an unbelievably athletic and gymnastic star, Johnny Depp as Tonto was excellent and Armie Hammer as the Lone Ranger was good. The movie action and scenery were outstanding and incredible. This is a must see movie.

Boston Common

Started 1634 for grazing cows

Entering Bella Vita on nearby Charles Street

Had half sandwich and clam chowder soup

Clam chowder highly recommended

Overall reasonable prices and friendly with fast and good service  highly recommended

Just sitting down for the Shakespeare on the Common

This was an incredibly good and original production by the Commonwealth Shakespeare Company. The play was transformed into a musical incorporating modern songs particular;y from Frank Sinatra. This approach would not work in the Tragedies or History plays, but by artistic director Steven Maler this approach was amazingly successful. Absolutely highly recommended. This is superb must see production highly recommended again..
