Well probably the last barbecue! the weather has been hot and sunny except for one day since I arrived in Calgary, no one knows how long it will last but typically it starts to get colder around now. Alec is the new guy with us he has done his paratroop basic training (5 jumps fully equipped) and is doing temporary work before enlisting

Can you go to a Chinese residence without playing table tennis?? Xin v Sarah great game but amazingly Victor beat them well XIN quite a bit and Sarah once - she had pro training back home, Victor's younger bro is a top player back in Nigeria.

And now the most amazing item a card from Boris. For those who do not follow the blog regularly Boris is a bear that has been glimpsed around my property and makes his presence known by moving tools around and collecting measuring tapes. He has also left footprints in the snow, sent me a Birthday card and now is the first to write me out here in Calgary. What an intelligent bear!!

These are some more flowers I would like to put on my property, all part of the beautiful park just below SAIT which is on a hill.

Xin Chen who has studied in China and France as well as spending time in Germany, Uk etc his parents purchased a house in Calgary for him where I have been. He is an extremely helpful guy and is my partner in BFIN 430 Finance.

On my right is Xiamen Li and on my left is Xiwen Chang
Xiamen Li is a chemistry graduate from China who worked for 8 years in NZ before moving to Calgary to marry her high school sweet heart, who had established himself here. Xiamen is my partner in CHEN 405 Process Engineering.                   Xiwen  has a degree in Electronic automation from China, she is my partner in CHEN 402 now called Reservoir Fluids.
