  1. Not everyone knows about Boris the intelligent, shy mischievous brown bear who in the last two years has made his home in the area. This year as well as sending a card he sang Happy Birthday and left the message on the answering system . Then he erased it before I could play the recording to visitors. Mostly he just moves tools around, hides things occasionally and seems to be a measuring tape collector.
  2. Birthday cards like Christmas cards I love to receive and leave them up for a while for company. I will put the Christmas cards up in the summer.

60th Duodecimal Birthday Danny Surprise Boris Sings

The largest slice of chocolate cake I have ever been served

The Master says many years ago as a kid there was a shop in TO  serving similar helpings

The apprentice and Master in Angels Diner Guelph wonderful  surprise and meal
I thought I was going to spend my Birthday happily talking on the phone and contemplating maybe even reading some book while looking at the beautiful countryside.

My first call was the beautiful voice of Shelley singing Happy Birthday then a chat with the RexMeister  before they left for the cottage, followed by a long chat with Karen and then another rendition of Happy Birthday from Nicola in her oh so cold flat. Unfortunately insulation is a concept foreign to England.

Then I was just settling down to my grooming when a Birthday call came through from Danny. It was interrupted by knocking on the backdoor I thought Will and Colleen might have ski-ed over or Boris had come in person - BUT no it was Danny calling on his cell from behind the door Ha Ha . What a lovely surprise he came bearing a Home Depot gift card gift and an invitation to lunch. So as above we went to Angels Diner which is owned supplied or something by Cindy Lunau's daughter Andrea - have to call Cindy and tell her how great it was!!

In the meantime Amanda had called when the phone was busy and we were out. As it was getting late I thought the calls had come to an end, but then another surprise Boris called and sang Happy Birthday. You all may recall last year Boris sent a Birthday card. For those who don't know much about Boris he is a mischievous very talented neighbourhood bear. We love him but he is annoying. He has a thing for measuring between us we own six measuring tapes, but sometimes Boris manages to hide four or five. He is a real jokester and also manages to hide other tools in plain sight But we love him nevertheless and thanks for the Birthday wishes Boris.!!!!
